What you’ll do:

Primary focus of the role is to support NPI project industrialisation on site, lead or support others to deliver CAPEX projects on time and within budget, support problem solving and TPM events to improve production efficiency and be a go to point of contact for engineering support.

"• Be the manufacturing engineering support for NPI projects having specific ProLaunch tasks assigned.

• Lead and support others to deliver CAPEX projects, this could be smaller projects like purchasing a 3D printer through to buying a fully automated assembly machine with integrated testers.

• Be responsible for all factory layout changes maintaining an up to date layout in CAD.

• Participate or lead CI events such as TPM and problem solving and provide manufacturing engineering knowledge to solve problems and drive efficiency.

• Design new jigs and fixtures to improve ergonomics and increase productivity.

• Support machine guarding and electrical tester remediation tasks.

• Support and develop multi axis ABB robot programming especially on the UAC cell optimising efficiency."

Qualifications:

Minimum HND ideally BEng in Engineering/Manufacturing

At least 3 years of on the job experience, having electrical knowledge would be an advantage especially PLCs

Skills:

"Managing Capital projects circa. £10-£500k

Proficient AutoCAD Inventor user

PMI Project management training would be advantageous

CE and machine building BS standard knowledge would be advantageous

CSME qualification would support this role

Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Strong and proven project management skills

Microsoft Office especially Excel"
