ABM Industries Specialty Utility Lead in Vancouver, Washington

Overview

The primary responsibility is to provide outstanding service to our many valued clients with. In this role you will be working 3:30pm - 12am; Monday - Friday. The pay is $20 per hour, you will receive Union Benefits that include: medical, dental and vision insurance. You will also be expected to travel to other areas to help - the travel will be compensated by ABM.

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license

  • Previous lead experience

  • Excellent attendance

  • Self-starter with strong initiative

  • Good floor refinishing and carpet cleaning skills

  • Solid history of building security procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the public, clients and employees

  • Good history of following and enforcing company and client policies

  • Demonstrated ability to correct customer complaints immediately

  • History of safe work practices

  • Must be a great ambassador for ABM and a strong member of the ABM family

  • Must speak well of ABM and represent the company well

  • Willingness and availability to participate in training requirements as directed by ABM

  • Must be able to travel out of state as needed Preferred Qualifications:Customer service experience • One (1) year of similar work experience Duties include - but are not limited to:

  • Train custodians in proper cleaning techniques and ABM procedures

  • Supervise job performance. Follow up to see that work is completed

  • Perform cleaning routines in an excellent manner

  • Drive safe work habits

  • Identify and submit work orders

  • Respond promptly to alarm calls

  • Respond promptly and professionally to ABM and client requests

  • Correspond daily with night supervisor to review operations and receive instruction

  • Provide immediate response to emergency requests

  • Perform quality control inspections including follow up to complete corrections

  • Coordinate substitutes for custodians who are absent

  • Supervise and inspect and perform tag wo

  • Follow directions of ABM supervisors and managers.
