What you will do

Senior Demand Planner is responsible for incorporating macro trends into hair forecasts, as well as product discontinuations. The forecast build should also incorporate business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, replenishment analysts, distributors and other sources where applicable across 24month horizon.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting and S&OP Management:

• Maintains and understands the sales data at different aggregation levels (Brands, Sub-brands, SKUs, variants, sizes, Distribution channels, demand groups and demand locations).

• Gathers information and document assumptions based on historical data, business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailers, and other sources.

• Maintains & validates assumptions of activities calendar and events forecasting building blocks.

• Facilitates parts of the S&OP process to gain consensus and alignment with all stakeholders involved in the process to arrive at one unbiased aligned number, practicing the IBP concepts.

• Analyses gaps (financials, capacities, inventory etc.) from unit based plans to drive alignment between business functions.

• Measures and tracks the forecast accuracy at different levels and initiate action plans to continuously improve forecast accuracy.

• Lead demand planning activities for their brands/countries

• Lead the S&OP process for the brands/countries

• Be the 1st point of contact with distributers from SC side

• Be the commercial organization go to person for SC operations

• Drive the commercial agenda on the ground within the brands/countries

New Products Introduction:

• Locally owns NPI project management from supply chain point of view, collaborating with regional supply planners, regulatory, marketing, commercial and operations team to ensure successful on time NPI launch

• Manages Phase in Phase Out (PIPO) changes at SKU level and communicate changes to all stakeholders.

• Collaborates with Data Governance to ensure product codes are created in the system at the right time.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Business Management or similar Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or related field

• Hands on experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and S&OP essential

• Prior APO experience advantageous

• IBP experience or qualification advantageous

• Experience working with quantitative and qualitative numbers, creating reports

• Expert in Excel, skilled enough in Word and PowerPoint

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to negotiate and manage conflict effectively

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Fluency in English
