How will you make an impact?

Thermo Fisher Scientific is in search of a Regional Marketing Manager dedicated to improving our marketing efficacy in alignment with business and sales objectives. This pivotal role entails spearheading the conception and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across divisions, aimed at achieving key performance metrics and fostering data-centric business strategies. Collaborating closely with various departments within the organization, you will orchestrate a cohesive and strategic marketing framework to bolster customer engagement and fortify brand positioning.

What will you do?

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for customer engagement, including content creation and journey mapping.

  • Collaborate closely with business divisions and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure a unified approach.

  • Ensure alignment of lead acquisition and conversion efforts with overarching lead generation strategies.

  • Use key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Drive data-driven insights to optimize sales force effectiveness and identify business expansion opportunities.

  • Champion an integrated marketing approach to uphold Thermo Fisher's branding and achieve divisional business targets.

  • Plan and participate in conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, providing post-event analysis.

  • Lead marketing efforts to support sector opportunities and contribute to business growth.

  • Stay informed about emerging industry and marketing trends.

  • Develop, lead, and report on portfolio-/region-specific marketing plans in collaboration with other managers.

  • Collaborate with commercial partners to develop tools for revenue growth.

  • Build and implement tools to improve sales force activation and engagement.

  • Lead marketing budgets, metrics, and roadmaps for timely execution.

  • Analyze data to identify market opportunities and advise on business strategies.

  • Evaluate campaign efficiency and return on investment, providing reports to customers.

  • Travel approximately 5-10% within North America; fulfill additional duties as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/business required

  • Bachelor's degree environmental, biology, chemistry, or a related field in a plus.

  • MBA preferred

Experience:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience

  • Demonstrated track record of marketing excellence, encompassing strategic planning and tactical execution across various platforms including web, ecommerce, seminars, conferences, and social media.

  • In-depth understanding of the chromatography and mass spectrometry markets, including key competitors and technology applications. Previous experience in sales, marketing, and/or laboratory settings is advantageous.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and drive continuous improvement in overall marketing efficiency.

  • Consistent track record to develop strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives that are aligned with sales objectives and focused on customer needs. Demonstrated success as a collaborative teammate across various functions.

  • Strong interest in building and nurturing strategic relationships, with a leadership style centered on collaborative influence.

  • Track record of achieving operational excellence, fostering creativity, and demonstrating analytics to get results.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, including active listening, articulate verbal expression, and persuasive written communication. Proficient in translating data insights and technical information to engage internal team members and management across all levels, facilitating decision-making, consensus-building, and expectation setting.

  • Experience in crafting marketing strategies for both developed and emerging markets within the scientific industry.

  • Proficiency in digital technologies, including expertise in driving SEO/SEM and omnichannel marketing campaigns.

  • Knowledge of content architecture principles.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Texas is $93,800.00–$132,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
