US Tech Solutions Sr. UX Designer in Newton, Massachusetts

This position will be a hybrid role – 2 to 3 days a week onsite

Our client is seeking an adept and innovative Senior UX Designer who will be directly evolve and enhance the full spectrum of their digital experiences and business channels including all customer-facing applications, multi-channel customer-service experiences and native mobile app.

  • A Senior UX Designer will power the transformation of multi-channel digital products and services, practicing the craft of user experience as an integral member of full-cycle product development teams. You will be leading ideation and design strategy efforts with partner product owners and development teams, directly taking on interaction design and information architecture questions for complex products and processes and steering iterative cycles of concept creation, prototype refinement, and customer feedback.

  • A Senior UX Designer should be capable of independently leading and facilitating design strategy and customer discovery, advancing product design efforts to deliver independently and in collaboration with other UX and UI designers. You will advocate for the impact of customer centric approaches on the business strategy, and shape design group processes, tools, and assets based on substantial experience and perspective.

  • A Senior UX Designer is instrumental in creating interaction models, validating UX recommendations and developing prototypes that can be tested with customers and prospects online or in person. You’ll be a key contributor in the design Agile team with analyzing business hypotheses and features, validating design recommendations, creating wireframes and prototypes to support design to code implementation.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan, participate in and independently complete design activities throughout the product and service life cycle, from building understanding and empathy, through ideation, product definition, iterative design, and delivery

  • Draw from the full spectrum of design disciplines including interaction design, UX design, information architecture, content design, design strategy, etc. to improve customer experiences from end to end

  • Work collaboratively with partners/stakeholders on framing problems, discovering insights, crafting effective strategies, articulating strong experience-centered visions, and converting concepts to prototypes

  • Combine design thinking, lean methods, and agile delivery practices in support of integrated delivery, continuous learning, and strategic alignment

  • Work closely with the business by being the voice of the customer and balancing business goals and user satisfaction

  • Contribute to and lead the evolution of the design system/pattern library

  • Through an iterative process of designing and gaining feedback (from customers, developers, and stakeholders) create UX artifacts (user flows, wireframes, prototypes, etc) to ensure the intent of design is met

  • Evaluate current experiences to understand customer pain points to provide holistic recommendations for optimizations

  • Hands-on design approach and thorough knowledge of Figma with the focus on rapid prototype creation and close collaboration with the development team

  • A Visual Craftsman: You will create conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas as well as detailed design specifications for the finished product. You will ensure brand standards are appropriately integrated into all final designs to deliver a consistent experience.

  • An Experience Innovator: You will work throughout all phases of the design process such as conceptual design, storyboards, persona/scenario development, user task/interaction flow diagrams, information hierarchy, wireframes, and prototypes.

  • A Customer Advocate: You will help identify user research needs and participate in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing. You will continuously seek and integrate user feedback and test results to optimize solutions.

A Natural Collaborator: You will work with multiple functions, including product owners and developers throughout the product lifecycle, seeking frequent feedback, and integrating multiple considerations into your work.
