Do you have experience as a sustaining engineer in a warehouse setting? If so, we are looking for a qualified indivdual who brings years of engineering experience to the table. This position is first shift in the Monroe, NC area and pays between 65k-90k. Please inquire and if you meet the qualifications listed.

salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 7:30 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for generation and coordination of all documentation needed to implement an Engineering

Change. This includes Drawings, Bill of materials change mark-ups, Assembly Procedures and

miscellaneous documentation.

2. Assist in identifying and correcting problems that encounter in the assembly or testing of scientific

instruments.

3. Responsible for follow-up and analysis of failures on existing products. This would include investigation

of the reported problems, determination of the failure mode and corrective action. Responsible for

corrective action through the completion of the ECO.

4. Responsible for finding part substitutions for obsolete parts or cost reductions. This would include the

initiation and follow-up on the ECN to implement the substitution.

5. Help facilitate the implementation of Test Plans required to test new and current products and sub-

assemblies. This includes the creation of Test Plans, and documentation of Test Plan results

6. Design and fabricate electro-mechanical fixtures to aid in the assembly process.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
