Full time, 3 days a week together from our London based digital hub (flexible 2 days remote wherever).

The immediate assignment:

We are seeking a Product Designer interested in AI to lead and support the Aimee early life squad working with the coolest Generative AI tech. You will work on delivering exceptional conversational experience for our customers and how we integrate EE APIs, user data, and other intelligence, helping the team achieve our metrics/goals (making an impact), which is underpinned by Generative AI. As such, a keen interest in AI is imperative for this role .

You will also lead on making our vision a reality and support the uplift of our UI design as well as any other work and working alongside the Content Designer (Conversational) PO and other disciplines.

You'll have the following accountabilities:

  • Ensuring the user can achieve their goal easily, in a simplified user journey, with low friction interactions in a way that has a commercial benefit.

  • Utilising the EE Design System in your experience designs.

  • Acting as a Design team representative and a main point of contact for product owners and product team members on developing a user centred approach to all activities

  • Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities to improve the design team processes, ensuring a consistent and coherent process to manage design quality and collaboration across teams.

  • Developing user experience designs and prototypes at any level of fidelity needed independently, while being as lean and outcome focused as possible.

You'll have the following skills & experience:

  • You are someone who champions User-centred design methodology, loves user needs and goals, data, and research, and have experience in conversational AI, Generative AI or an interest in AI.

  • Interaction Design & Prototyping - defining the order and experience of the users activities within the digital touch-points

  • Retail Design – highly desirable as the role will involve merchandising and sales related marketing campaigns as well as the UX element

  • Visual Design & Finesse – creating interactions into a simple and delightful user interface

  • User Journey Mapping - designing end to end journeys with needs and data at their heart

  • User Research & Testing - discovering issues and needs through regular qualitative learning

  • Micro Interaction Design - ensuring each moment is intentionally created

  • Data Analysis, MVT & A/B Testing - analysing behaviours and appetites using regular quantitative learning
