Your new role, what's involved?

Do you want to help WSP to help healthcare providers plan and deliver world class, future ready hospitals?

Owing to an internal promotion, we are recruiting to Associate Director level in our Healthcare Advisory team.

Our Healthcare Advisory team works in the UK, primarily with NHS clients, to:

• provide healthcare planning

• coordinate and write business cases to secure capital funding for investment in new healthcare developments

• develop estate strategies

• all underpinned by solid project management skills.

Owing to growth, we are recruiting to either Technical Director or Associate Director level (subject to experience) in our Healthcare Advisory team. We are looking for dynamic, ambitious candidates with particular experience in healthcare planning, ideally with a property/construction consultancy.

This is an opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic, forward thinking company and provide specialist capital project consultancy services and related technical advice to clients on estate strategies and capital projects. The position is based in either our Birmingham Mailbox or London Chancery Lane office (subject to candidate location) and will be a combination of office, client and home based work.

YOUR TEAM

We sit on several national frameworks that provide excellent access to clients.

Our Healthcare Advisory team provides a range of strategic advisory and project delivery expertise to NHS Trusts, independent hospitals, contractors and PPP consortia across a variety of procurement routes.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Degree qualified (essential).

• PRINCE 2, MSP, APMPQ, Better Business Cases, or MSc Planning Buildings for Health.

• UK/NHS health sector experience working for a professional services consultancy.

• Knowledge of NHS property and capital project policy, processes, guidance and stakeholders.

• Experience supporting work winning activity including presentations and tender submissions.

• Experience managing internal and external teams to deliver commissions, including team line management responsibility.

• Experience preparing and updating resource plans and financial forecasts for business management/reporting purposes.
