We are seeking a highly motivated and expert marketer to support our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business in the Americas region. You will play an integral role in driving growth and market penetration of our portfolio in the field of OMICS (proteomics, metabolomics) across Academic & Government Research and Pharma/BioPharma customer end markets.

How will you make an impact?

This is an exciting, visible, and dynamic position within an outstanding team. As the Regional Marketing Manager, you will lead strategic demand planning and execution of regional campaigns and globally developed programs to support revenue objectives for the North America Region. As a passionate marketer your thought leadership will bridge customers needs, and broader market trends, to our go-to-market strategy. This will require engagement and teamwork across various teams in the organization that will advance scientific research and discover across academic, government, pharma, and bio-pharma end markets.

What will you do?

  • Plan and implement CMD annual marketing plans to drive efficiency.

  • Define product positioning strategy in partnership with product marketing managers and vertical marketing teams to deploy B2B marketing primarily motivated by CAPEX buying cycles.

  • Address customer needs through multi-product solution marketing: consumables, instrumentation, software.

  • Monthly review of planned marketing objectives vs actual performance to ensure achievement of the annual plan. Take action to address underperformance and proactively optimize programs to exceed targets.

  • Lead regionalized new product launch activities.

  • Communicate and collaborate with commercial selling teams to optimize selling tools and value proposition messaging.

  • Influence the creation and promotion of content for marketing collateral including white papers, presentations, case studies, eBooks, protocols, videos, selection guides and customer testimonials.

  • Conducts voice of customer (VOC) for data driven decision making by acquiring market information via surveys, market analysis, focus groups and customer feedback to recommend process improvements.

  • Assess market trends and deliver critical insights that enable high-impact actions.

  • Understand marketing mix to amplify or accelerate product offerings for the largest impact.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Biology, or Chemistry and 8+ years of marketing experience and/or sales experience , with scientific technology and market knowledge.

  • MS, Ph.D., or MBA and 5+ years of marketing and/or sales experience.

  • Proven track record of driving targeted campaign initiatives applying a multi-channel marketing mix such as social media, advertising, and events.

  • Motivated, self-starter with ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Ability to work across and influence complementary teams, and partners.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States and Canada.

  • Ability to plan, complete, and measure with a strong aim to move strategy into action.

  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.

  • Proficiency in market research and analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategy and tactics.

  • Proven understanding of B2B marketing, end customer segmentation, and prioritizing messaging across the buyer's network.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$140,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
